You can go to a pizza stand and get delicious pizza, or go to a nice fancy restaurant that will be expensive. New York City is the type of place where you can make it cheap or expensive, it really all just comes down to what you are wanting to do! No matter how you choose to go about it, you are still spending time with your best friends, in a beautiful place.
Taking a road trip down to Myrtle Beach with your best friends is one the most popular destinations seniors travel for their trip. Seniors have been going here for years and years, and it only seems to be getting more popular. Myrtle has many great attractions with so much to do. Broadway on the beach is a great way to spend your nights. There are plenty of restaurants that will fit your budget. During the day, spend time at the beach, or go visit the piers and cute beach shops. Housing ranges from fancy resorts, to safe, cheap hotels with an ocean view. For years, Myrtle has hosted something called, “Senior Week.” This is held from May 25th to June 14th. You have to buy a $40 party card, which gives you and your friends the opportunity to go to so many fun things like concerts, neon glow dances, and so much more. One small card will give you access to all of this.
If you do not have a budget and are willing to splurge on this special trip, Miami, Nashville, or even Sarasota, Florida would be perfect for just that. In areas like these, everything tends to be more expensive. During peak seasons, hotels in these places are significantly higher than most other places. Even groceries are way more expensive as well. While driving in Sarasota, you may have to get a rental car, which can be very costly. In Nashville and Miami, you can get around by an Uber, but the nice thing about these cities is that you can walk almost everywhere, which is a way for you to save a little on these expensive trips!
There are other options for those who are not able to travel far. You can take a day trip to cedar point, visit amusement parks or water parks, go to hocking hills for a few days and catch some fresh air, or even go to an aquarium. There is something out there for everyone that will be perfect for you and your friends!
